Looks like the only way to make money now is to short the market. :)

The Dow is in the negative region for 5 straight trading days. Nobody really knows how it will perform tonight. I will just save my bullets for the time being.

Well, too bad we are having our National day and not able to take advantage of the Dow rise on Wednesday and instead, we suffer together with the plunge on Thursday.

Well, that's life and you have to take it whatever it is. Cut my positions on opening although stocks did rise in the late afternoon. No regrets as I limited my losses.

Most probably I will take a holiday first :) given the volatility of the market. At the current moment, looks like intraday traders are the safest. :)

Looks like when everything seems to be lost, opportunities appeared.

Got into 2 long positions and hope the Dow behaves itself while we celebrate our national day!

This is also the first week I ended up with losses. -$400

With the crashes, I am glad that I stick to my rules to avoid the big losses.

Sorry was not able to update yesterday as I was busy. Anyway, I have cut my long positions on market open yesterday. No regrets even if the market rebounded today as we DO NOT know that the market will rebound today.

What IF the Dow dropped another 300 points? Then you will be devastated and would not be able to sleep for the whole night!

The question of the Big IF. What IF this and what IF that. In this realistic world, there is no IF. Either you do it or you don't!

When you cut your losses, your loss is realized and you preserve your capital so you will be able to come back and fight another day. The greatest enemy is YOURSELF. You are worried that IF you sell now, it will rebound.

Like the Chinese saying, IF there is IF, there will not be any beggars. :)

Heng I covered my short on Lian beng earlier in the day. At the last hour, market show strength and construction lead the pack. Bought some Lian Beng to try my luck. :)
